BIM4Housing Equality and Diversity Policy
BIM4Housing is a Non-profit organisation open to all engaged in the design, construction and management of housing. As an open and evolving organisation, we encourage on-going discussion and value all views and opinions on our ethos and the methodology which we pursue.
Our policy's purpose is to:
- Provide equality, fairness and respect for all volunteers, members and guests
- Not unlawfully discriminate because of the Equality Act 2010 protected characteristics of:
- age
- disability
- gender reassignment
- marriage or civil partnership
- pregnancy and maternity
- race (including colour, nationality, and ethnic or national origin)
- religion or belief
- sex
- sexual orientation
Where meetings and roundtables are held online:
- audio and video recordings are made available shortly after the event
- text transcripts are made available shortly after the event
Where meetings are held in person:
- only venues that fully comply with Health and Safety regulations, with access and facilities for the disabled are considered
If our attainments fall short of our aims, we hope the spirit of openness we espouse will soon rectify any short-coming.
